Things that caught my eye related to education…
- Pictured above is the imagination of a 3rd Grader. It’s Lady Liberty… as a vampire. With a technicolor tower in the background. Related(?): I’m currently reading American Vampire.
- NYC school teachers now have clear guidelines on how they can interact with students on the Internet. For the most part, its common sense.
- Never bet on a multiple choice test maker to do the right thing. My favorite take on the story coming, unsurprisingly, from Ethan Iverson of the Bad Plus.
- Neil Gaiman’s commencement speech to the University of the Arts is a little dry but very solid encouragement to listen to when things aren’t going so well artistic/professionally.
