June and July Beta Test Events

The last few months have been spent plotting a few events coming up in the next handful of weeks. Hopefully you can check one or more of them out. The first involves no playing of my own but lots and lots of driving. Beta Test is hosting an evening of music at Dalet Art Gallery this Saturday, June 23. We’re presenting three solo performers, Cory Tiffin (clarinet), Pascal Niggenkemper (bass), and Aaron Stewart (saxophone). The evening has been named Primal Roar, and that sounds like a pretty cool time you wouldn’t want to miss. You can see all of the details on facebook.

(There won’t be a radio show on 6/23 due to asbestos removal in the Rutgers Student Center. The airwave madness will resume 6/30).

A few weeks later, Beta Test has two gigs in two nights. Philly NerdNite invited us to perform on July 11. Philly NerdNite is an event where people share the cool geeky things they’re interested in over beer. We’ll be playing some old and new tunes in between the speakers. All of it is happening at Frankford Hall starting around 7pm.

The following evening we’ll be performing in the second LocalArtsLive Showcase, reprising some of the music we played at NerdNite. I’m a little light on details for this one, but it will be at the William Way LGBT Community Center in the evening.

And… I think that’s everything. If I can caffeinate myself enough, I’ll be catching some cool music in Jersey City Thursday evening presented by On The Cusp New Music, who I’ll hopefully be having on the radio in July.
